The Economy

The economy, is what everyone is talking about these days. Turn on CNN it is the topic of the week. Turn on the news or read the paper, look at your home page and it is plastered all over. Look to petiton sites and you will not see one or two but there are tons and then there are the blogs, zillions of them.

We are being asked to give up 700 billion dollars of our money to help failed companies. Say, okay we give into them and give our support what does that do to the economy?

It won't help the economy because it is not attacking the root of the problem. It may at the most be a bandaid until water losens its grip.
The experts from the financial world are all saying that we should not do it.

So, what would help the economy, what actually is the root of the problem? It is very simple so simple in fact that with all the hysteria, fear and congress while being angry and tempers flying, rallies to object no one has looked at what is going on. All they have to do is realize that the economy went down when they stopped giving people a decent wage.

People can not live or survive on no money. The cost of living has gone up and up and up. But, the pay has not.
All they have to do to get the economy back on traack is give the equal amount of pay to the cost of living.

People will buy again with money coming in. More money than they have been getting. Not a stimulas check but something that is guarenteed for the future. A normal wage again where people can make ends meet.

We have gone so long with the wages we have been getting, not getting a decent enough pay raise with the cost of living that we would notice right away how much lesss our money goes. We start to struggle and pretty soon we get into debt. We can't get out of debt because our wage stays the same, not enough increase the next time the cost of living goes up.

Food, and goods start to climb with the cost of living but still our wage stays the same. We are taxed more, and still the wage doesn't go up.
Our government forgot to look out for us.

Now they are all screaming at each other and in turmoil over bailing out companies they are blaming for failing.
Threatening to use our hard earned money that they don't have yet.

That's why it will not work. The bailouts will not work because the wage will not produce enough to handle the cost of living and the additional taxes, or the cost of goods being sold.

The economists state that our economy is based on the ability to get a loan. What happend to the ability to make a profit and not have to get a loan? Did that with go with the Constitution too?

A real economy would be based on the amount of goods and services sold and when I say services I don't mean paper being bought and sold.

We are so focused on making money out of money instead of goods and services.
Perhaps we are to blame by not demanding a fair wage for us all.
