One billion dollars is a lot of money. One billion dollars is a lot of money to give away.
One billion dollars could help the flood victims, the hurricane victims, the poor, family's of our soldiers, scholarships, emergency funds, food banks, and lot's lot's more.
It could even help fill the deficit our country has acquired.
But does it? No, not even close.
One billion dollars is being sent overseas to a country called Georgia for aid.
Our hard earned tax money is being given away. It is not being used for the purpose it was taken and no one asked us if they could take it. Just like the thousands of trillion dollars that have also been spent.
Billions and trillions is a lot zero's and that's a lot of zero's we have in our bankrupt vaults. We are being made a work horse for a debt that we could all never pay off in a million lifetimes.
One billion dollars could pay for oil and give some relief to our aching economy soon to be in chronic unforgivable pain.
One billion dollars could give relief to those that are soon to be living at 4678 Curb.
One billion dollars could give millions solar power in their homes and business.
One billion dollars could set up alternative energy fractions.
Georgia is not such a poor country it can provide for it's people. It has received 64 million in aid this year alone with one third of that to training their troops. They have people and a president and it is a democratic country. The Georgian people voted into office their president who agreed to support it's people. They are responsible for their own situation.
It is receiving 750 million from the International Monetary Fund to help replenish it's foreign currency reserves. This money is not for aid to the people of Georgia.
Responsibility is also letting one do his job and finding ways to increase self sufficiency and independence from other countries.
While we are quick to aid other countries for the hopes of oil and other resources our country is failing miserably.
When a business is bankrupt you do not continue to borrow money.
So, what is the solution?
The job of a President is a powerful position. If you do not have an ethical, "for the people" leader you will get unethical practises. They will not be for the people but for their own unethical agenda. Unethical governments use scare tactics and police force for it's survival.
We vote into office a person whom we think is going to take responsibility for our well being instead of taking care of our own well being first. We lay our outcome on someone else. We allow him to make decisions on our behalf and then we forget that he is human and only until we are in dire straights do we wonder how we got there.
We sit back and let laws to be passed that take away our freedoms and more of our hard earned money. We laze on our sofa's while others are supposidly running our country and our lives.
If all of us took a little more interest in our own well being and stood up for our rights we would not be in the position we are in now. We can not trust a man in power until he has deserved our trust. We can not trust solely on words alone. We have to take note of new laws and what they mean to us not just now but down the road for our young.
If you know you have an unethical president then you should know that you have unethical laws. These laws are all available for you to see prior to going before congress for vote. It is your country, your life and well being. You would not put up with a friend telling you where to spend your money so why do you allow someone who works for you. The taxes collected are for the people not for the people in power to get rich or richer.
If you feel you can't do something about something then you won't be able to. The government is run by a handful and a handful can be voted out. There is no power other than what you give them.
American taxpayers money should be spent on Americans. If any government wants to spend that money elsewhere they should ask for a vote of the people. This is not just a president's country but a people's country and the president is hired by us for us or so it should be!
